My Everyday Makeup Routine/ Makeup Go To’s

Skin Prep

First off I always prep my skin with lotion just after washing it. I love the Jergens Deep Restoring Argan Oil Infused Lotion. I use it on my face and body! It’s super affordable and great for the colder months.

After I prep my skin with lotion I use sunscreen to protect my skin from sun damage. You can get sun damage in the winter too! I use the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Sunscreen SPF 60+.

Makeup

After I’m all prepped I start with my favorite foundation. I feel that it covers quite a bit but it’s not quite a full coverage foundation. It still shows some freckles which I love for a more natural look. I use the Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15. It evens and corrects your skin and the added SPF doesn’t hurt! I use the shade beige (M)

Then I go in with my favorite concealer right now, Tarte Shape Tape. I have heard from some people that it smears or cracks but I have not experienced any of that. My skin loves it and it stays in place all day! I love that it’s thicker too. This helps cover up my dark spots. I use the shade 27B light-medium beige.

Another concealer that I highly recommend if you are looking for other options is the NARS concealer. I believe that it is better to have a high-quality concealer. So I will always try to get the better product when it comes to concealers, even if it means paying a little more. I’ve tried drug store concealers, and I just haven’t been impressed by any.

To blend my foundation and concealer I use a blending brush. The one I have is from Sephora and they don’t sell that specific one anymore. I did find one that is very similar. I’m obsessed with this type of brush because of the tight bristles, it blends liquid makeup so well! The Units Unit 103 Foundation Brush from Beautylish is only $13!

I use a blending brush like the L’Oreal Infallible Blend Artist Foundation Blender to add another layer of concealer on my upper lip area. I struggle with this area due to darkening and freckles.

I then take my favorite bronzer, The Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer in “Sunkissed Bronzer” shade. This goes on my temples, hair line, below my cheek bones, along my jaw line and neck.

I use the Real Techniques expert face make-up brush Number 201 to apply the bronzer.

Next, I use the Sephora Collection Concealer Brush to apply my nose contour with the physicians formula bronzer from above.

After that I use the Sephora Collection Magnet Crease Brush. I couldn’t find any available so here is a similar one. I use this to apply bronzer to my eyelid too. I feel like it gives me a subtle and natural eyeshadow look.

After that I move on to blush and highlighter. I do blush first, using my into the stars palette by Sephora.

I am so obsessed with this palette. It was a limited edition so I found one on amazon and there are a couple I saw on ebay if you are interested.

I also use my Real Techniques blush brush number 400.

Then I use the Wander Beauty Catch The Light Highlighter and Glowtion.

After that, I go back in with Highlighter from my Into the Stars Palette and apply that to all of my highlighted areas for extra glow! I use a fan brush for this step.

For eyebrows, I use NYX tinted brow in the shade Espresso. I then brush that out with an Anastasia brow brush. Then I use Maybelline Stiletto Mascara for my lashes.

For lips I used the Kim Kardashian West Lip Liner in “Nude II” and the Fenty Beauty “Fenty Glow” lipgloss shade.

That’s a wrap for my everyday makeup routine! I hope this helps! Be sure to check out my Instagram for the full looks on IGTV.
